It creates an opaque, slightly absorbent, durable surface with a fine texture that provides excellent paint adhesion. Once dry, it is water-resistant, archival quality, and reliably evens out the absorbency of the underlying material.

Specifications and features

Brand: GOLDEN

Type: acrylic gesso / primer

Color: white

Suitable surfaces: canvas, wood, paper, cardboard

Thinning: water-thinnable while working

Features: water-resistant once dry, archival quality, opaque, can be tinted with acrylic paint

Country of origin: USA (Golden Artist Colors, New York)

Pack contents: 1 pc

Use and application

Apply with a brush or roller in one or more coats to canvas, wood, paper, or cardboard, allowing each coat to dry thoroughly.
