Its fluid consistency makes it easier to thin and mix acrylic paints while also increasing the cohesion of the paint film. Once dry, it provides a water-resistant, archival-quality surface.

Product details

Brand: GOLDEN

Medium type: fluid matte acrylic medium

Consistency: fluid

Properties: water-thinnable while working, water-resistant once dry, archival quality

Country of origin: USA

Use and application

Mix the medium directly into GOLDEN acrylic paints to increase their volume and reduce their gloss, or apply it on its own to an absorbent surface as an almost clear matte primer with a fine texture for better adhesion of subsequent layers.

Frequently asked questions

Can the medium change the transparency of paint in a thicker layer? Yes, the medium contains fine matting particles, so thicker layers may take on a slightly milky appearance.

Can the medium be thinned with water? The medium can be thinned with water while working, but becomes water-resistant once fully dry.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0861/8010/2488/files/golden-matte-medium-liquid-acrylic-medium-ie-gdn0003530.jpg?v=1791488849
