It is specially designed for glazing and overpainting, improving the paint’s fluidity and transparency without changing its consistency and softening brushstrokes. It also increases the flexibility of subsequent paint layers, protecting the painting from cracking as layers are built up.

Product details

Brand: MAIMERI

Product: Oilyn Oil Medium (No. 645)

Volume: 75 ml

Composition: thixotropic alkyd resin (15%), white spirit, thickeners

Appearance: semi-gloss, amber

Origin: Italy (tradition since 1923)

Warning: flammable product

Use and application

The medium can be used instead of oil for glazing and overpainting, helping you follow the “fat over lean” rule.
