Schmincke Horadam Watercolor Paints, Half Pan
Schmincke Horadam Watercolors in Half Pans | Various Shades
Discover the world of watercolor with the 140-color range of HORADAM® AQUARELL. The finest paints and pigments are used to create a wide range of colors, including many new shades. For more than 130 years, the Schmincke brand has met the highest quality standards. Exceptional pigments and unique properties are especially evident in Schmincke watercolors. Named Horadam after the founder, these exceptional watercolors are also renowned for the Schmincke Super Granulating range. Super-granulating paints are watercolors with a special property: they combine at least 2 HORADAM granulating pigments. Horadam watercolors have a high pigment content, excellent lightfastness, and vivid color intensity. Many shades feature special pigments such as perylene or quinacridone. Every year, the Schmincke brand seeks out the finest gum arabic to use as a binder in its paints. Watercolors are filled using a time-consuming process, with the liquid paint poured into the pans 4 times, with drying phases lasting several weeks. The result is a highly concentrated watercolor that is easy to pick up and rewet with a damp brush. In 2022, Schmincke and HORADAM ® AQUARELL were chosen as the Brand of the Century for the fourth consecutive time, making Schmincke one of the strongest and best-known brands in Germany. It’s time to get creative with these watercolors and explore your artistic side!

The half pan in crimson is perfect for my travel case. The color washes out beautifully and is very lightfast.
A great selection of shades. These small pans are just what I need for sketching outdoors.
The quality of these paints is unmatched. Even though the pan is smaller, it has plenty of pigment.
