The Schmincke brand has upheld the highest quality standards for more than 130 years. As one of the world's most popular brands for artists, it offers a wide range of products with unique properties. Schmincke art supplies are made according to the strictest standards and processes gathered from experienced academic painters around the world. Oil-Bronze Metallic Powder, made with real metallic pigments, was specially designed for oil painting. The pigments offer high coverage, but they can also be thinned to create interesting metallic effects. Once dry, the powder for oil paints is water-resistant. You can dissolve it with turpentine or a turpentine substitute. Treat yourself to quality art supplies and create unique works of art with products from the Schmincke brand.
How to use:
Before application, mix 3 parts Oil-Bronze pigment powder with 2 parts bronze medium (containing coumarone resin), ideally with a palette knife. If needed, thin with a turpentine substitute. For absorbent surfaces, we recommend first treating the surface with a turpentine substitute mixed with a little bronze medium.

Customer reviews
This copper shade is amazing. Just a little powder makes the painting shine.
I bought the gold version, and it’s absolutely top-notch for acrylic paintings. It has a beautiful sheen.
A little pricey, but the intensity of the bronze powder is worth it.
I recommend it. The powder mixes beautifully with varnish, and the finished effect on frames looks luxurious.
Finally, something that really looks like real metal, not just cheap glitter.
