Classic Two-Step Crackle Varnish - 2 x 100 ml
Two-step crackle varnish is water-based and suitable for creating a cracked surface with a very smooth, leathery feel. Use a brush to apply a coat of the first component to a previously decorated object. Once the first phase is completely dry, use a brush to apply the second phase. As the second coat dries, it will crack. You can highlight the cracks by rubbing coloring material into the surface. The pattern of the resulting cracks depends on the direction of the brush strokes and the thickness of the first and second components. Once completely dry, your artwork will have a clear matte finish and be water-resistant.
