It is ideal for painting with watercolors, using the gouache technique, or working with ink. The fibers are evenly distributed, making the watercolor paper more stable and preventing it from warping. It retains its high gloss, natural transparency, and color intensity, while also offering good water absorption. The paper is made without acids, bleaches, or optical brighteners and is resistant to aging. The sheets are natural white. The coarsely textured (rough) watercolor paper is more difficult to work with and requires a more experienced watercolor artist. However, it is one of the highest-quality watercolor papers and is suitable for experimentation. Its surface is highly textured, hard, and grainy, so the paint may not cover it continuously.
