GOLDEN Crackle Paste is a lightweight, opaque acrylic paste designed for artists working with acrylics. It intentionally forms a network of cracks as it dries. Use and application
Apply the paste to a firm, inflexible surface prepared with one or two coats of gesso to ensure adhesion. The size and depth of the cracks depend on the thickness of the application. A thicker layer creates more pronounced, deeper cracks. You can tint the paste with acrylic paint before applying it (up to approximately 10% of the paste’s volume). Let it air-dry without speeding up the process artificially and without adding a retarder or other additives.
