Lefranc & Bourgeois Acrylique Fine Acrylic Paint 200 ml

Acrylic paint from the French brand Lefranc & Bourgeois offers an ideal texture in its new paints for enthusiasts, students, and professionals. These acrylic paints are a kind of replacement for the older Louvre paints, but they have much more vibrant colors thanks to the richer pigments used. They are more homogeneous, higher quality, and still affordable. Their high pigment level, depth of color, and satin finish give them added value. The texture is buttery enough for quick coverage and thick enough to retain brush marks.

Lefranc & Bourgeois paints offer a balanced palette of 50 shades, made from the purest, highest-quality pigments. We now offer these quality acrylic paints from a respected French manufacturer in our online store. Enjoy painting on canvas or other surfaces with the new Acrylique Fine paints and see for yourself how their quality is incomparably better than that of the older Louvre version.

How to use

Acrylic paints are among the most widely used painting media, mainly because they are water-soluble, easy to work with, and dry very quickly after painting. You can use practically any surface as a base, including canvas, wood, paper, stone, modeling clay, or fabric. The paints are best applied with brushes with natural or synthetic bristles, and they also work well with palette knives.

You can mix the paints together to create new shades. A painting palette and palette knife are ideal for mixing paints. To create different textures, you can use texture pastes or gels with acrylic paint. Use a palette knife to apply them to canvas. After painting, simply clean the brushes and palette knives as usual. Soap and clean warm water are all you need.

Our tip

Since acrylic paints dry quite quickly, it is a good idea to keep a spray bottle of clean water or a damp sponge nearby while you work. You can spray water directly onto the canvas or paper to keep the paint workable. You can also use an acrylic medium to slow drying.
