Pebeo Vitrail Opale Glass Paint 45 ml
Pebeo Vitrail Opale Glass Paint 45 ml | various colors
Pebeo Vitrail Opale Glass Paint is an opaque, solvent-based paint. It has an opalescent pearlescent effect. It is easy to use and suitable for decorating glass, canvas, metal, acetate, wood, mirrors, and similar surfaces. It is a very lightfast paint with excellent lightfastness. Once dry, it gives objects a glossy finish. Use it with Cerne Relief outlining paint to create the look of stained glass. Apply it directly to the surface from the bottle or mix it with other glass paints. It can be applied with brushes, a dropper, or sponges. The range consists of 10 opalescent solvent-based shades.
HOW TO USE
Stir the paint thoroughly with a stick before use. Clean the surface you want to decorate, removing any grease and dirt. Apply with brushes or other painting tools. To create contrast between opaque and transparent areas, mix Vitrail Opale paints with classic transparent Vitrail paints. The paint is touch-dry after approximately 2 hours and fully dry after 10 hours. Drying time may vary depending on the thickness of the paint applied, the temperature, and the humidity in the room where it is applied. Clean brushes after use with odorless mineral spirits or white spirit.

Customer reviews
The white opal paint is interesting. It has a milky undertone and looks very modern once dry.
This shade is exactly what I was looking for to create a subtle frosted effect on Christmas ornaments.
An interesting product that gives glass a completely different look than ordinary transparent paints.
As an art teacher, I appreciate how well this shade holds up. It’s very popular with my students.
The consistency is a little thicker, but the finished opal effect on the small vases is truly breathtaking.
