Schmincke Super Granulation Watercolor Set in Tubes, 5 x 15 ml

Set Horadam Super Granulation Aquarell contains 5 granulating watercolor paints in 15 ml tubes. The paints are stored in an elegant wooden box with the Schmincke brand logo. Artists are increasingly fond of granulating paints because of the special effect they create. The paints may seem pale, but this effect is desired in certain techniques. Granulation means that the pigments in the paint “clump together” to create a pronounced, grainy surface. This fantastic effect is ideal for creating beautiful works of art! The paints dissolve easily and are suitable for all watercolor techniques. The paints can also be easily mixed with other watercolor ranges from the Schmincke brand. To increase the granulation effect and achieve unusual color shifts, simply mix the granulating paints. We recommend testing them first, as some paints are more dominant while others have a weaker effect. The color shift effect also changes depending on the mixing ratio and color variety. As a rule, the rougher and more textured the paper, the greater the granulation effect. More absorbent papers require a little more water. Satin papers pressed hot are not suitable.
