Schmincke Universal Spray Fixative Aearospray B72 300 ml

With Schmincke Aerospray B72 fixative, you can fix work made with pencil, charcoal, pastels, watercolor, ink, acrylic paints and oil paints, tempera paints, as well as photographs, prints and gold leaf. It is therefore especially suitable for those who use different techniques and need one product for everything. Its effect is based on Paraloid B72 acrylic resin, which is used mainly for fills. It strengthens and protects, and is also suitable as a primer and final varnish. It is highly lightfast, does not age and does not yellow. It creates an invisible fixative layer on absorbent surfaces and a silky matte to slightly glossy film on non-absorbent surfaces. It contains solvents and should therefore not be inhaled.

How to use:

Shake the can vigorously before use. At room temperature, spray from a distance of 30 to 40 cm in a crosswise pattern onto an upright or slightly tilted object. The film's gloss level depends on the absorbency of the surface, the painting technique and the thickness of the fixative layer. The product can also make painting surfaces, such as paper, more transparent. The usual thickness of the fixative layer does not significantly affect the coating's resistance to UV radiation. We therefore strongly recommend working with high-quality, preferably lightfast paints / printing inks from the start.
